Verification

To interact with the Vaults, it's compulsory that the associated address and user undergoes KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

For those who haven't completed this process, users can visit the Tether platform to initiate and finalise their address verification. Alloy by Tether addresses can be submitted in the "Verification" menu, after clicking on "Review KYC Information".

Here users will be able to complete the two requested forms:

  • Alloy by Tether

  • My Alloy by Tether Addresses

Alloy by Tether

You will need to fill in an information about the intended use of Alloy services:

  • Are you planning on using the Alloy Mint & Return Service

  • Expected amount of XAUt deposited in Alloy smart contracts

  • Are you planning on using the Alloy Liquidators Service

  • Expected range of investment on Alloy liquidations

  • Reason for opening a Alloy by Tether account and how aUSD₮ will be used

My Alloy by Tether Addresses

You will need to provide the Ethereum addresses you want to use. Once the user verification process is complete, the address may be verified in the Alloy by Tether smart contract and it can then be used to deposit XAU₮ and mint aUSD₮.

Note: Verification processing timeframes might take up to one-two weeks, depending on the extent of public interest. The form verification process will begin once you have completed all sections and successfully submit it. If you have any questions about your corporate verification, contact Tether support. We are happy to support you through this process! Once the verification is successfully completed, users can connect their addresses to the Alloy by Tether Frontend, enabling them to seamlessly interact with Vaults. A conspicuous green check mark displayed on the top right corner of the screen serves as a visual indicator, informing the address owner of the completion status of the connected address verification.

It's essential to note that only verified addresses possess the authorization to interact with the Vault, irrespective of the frontend tool employed for this purpose.
